The PTFE Encapsulated Sleeve from Chunhuan is manufactured from 100% virgin, unmodified PTFE using a seamless molding process. With no adhesive layers or fillers, it forms a permanent encapsulation over metal or elastomeric substrates, creating an exceptionally pure and corrosion-resistant sealing interface.
Its extreme chemical inertness allows it to withstand over 98% of aggressive media, including concentrated sulfuric acid, aqua regia, and organic solvents, completely eliminating delamination risks. The naturally low coefficient of friction (as low as 0.05) provides permanent self-lubrication, enabling dynamic seals to operate maintenance-free for over 15,000 hours, significantly reducing equipment downtime costs.
Certified to FDA, USP Class VI, and EU 10/2011 standards, it is safe for pharmaceutical and food-contact applications. Its ultra-low surface energy (18–22 mN/m) prevents sticky material buildup, eliminating seal failure due to contamination.
